THE ASSOCIATION OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, founded 1979, was incorporated in London in 1984 and is a leading international accountancy body. Prior to the incorporation of the Association no professional accountancy body existed for the specific purpose of providing an international organisation for accountants.
Purpose of the Association
The purpose of the Association is to develop and maintain itself as an international organization which meets the needs of its members and the accounting profession in the United Kingdom and overseas.
International Recognition (since 1994)
a. THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA granted full recognition to the Association through ministerial decree signed by the Minister of Economy and Finance dated 1994.
Where there are a sufficient number of members and students in a locality the Association encourages the setting up of a local branch for the furtherance of professional knowledge and skills.
The Association has established at least 9 local branches and Professional examination and education centres in the following countries:ARMENIA
